Walking on Clouds





RED HEART® “Baby Clouds™”
Crochet Hook: 8mm [US L-11]. Yarn needle.


BOOT (make 2)
With A, ch 8.
Round 1: Work 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, 6 dc in last ch, turn to work along opposite side of beginning ch, dc in next 4 ch, 3 dc in last ch, slip st in top of beginning ch to join.
Round 2: Wit B, ch 1, sc in back loops only in each st around, slip st in beginning ch to join.
Round 3: Ch 1, sc in next 5 sts, [hdc2tog] 4 times, sc in next 6 sts, slip st in beginning ch to join.
Round 4: Ch 1, sc in next 5 sts, [hdc2tog] 2 times, sc in next 6 sts, slip st in beginning ch to join.
Rounds 5-7: Ch 1, sc in each st around, slip st in beginning ch to join.
Round 8: Ch 1, slip st in each st around, slip st to beginning ch to join.
Fasten off.

Finishing
Weave in ends

Mussel Chevron


A friend of mine asked me to make a blanket because she needed one in a two day period ,and i would like to share the pattern with you.

The blanket
Chain a multiple of 17 stiches.
Row 1: Turn. ch2. Dc in 3rd ch from hook,( 2 dcs in next ch) 2 times, *(sk,ch,dc) 5 times, sk, ch,( 2dcs in next ch) 6 times*; repeat from *to* across, ending with (2 dcs in next ch) 3 times.
Row 2: Turn. Ch 2. FPdc across, ending with FPdc in tch.
Row 3: Turn. Ch 2. Dc in first dc, (2 dcs in next dc) 2 times, *(sk st, dc) 5 times; sk st, (2 dcs in next st) 6 times*; repeat from *to* across, ending with (2 dcs in next st) 3 times sk tch.
Repeat rows 2 and 3.

The edging
Chain a multiple of 16 stitches + 1 or, if working directly onto a piece, work over sufficient stistiches so edge lies flat and rnd 1 comes out with correct number of repeats.
Rnd 1: Ch 2 (count as first sc). Sc in each stitch around, sl st in first ch of rnd.
Rnd 2: Ch 2 (counts as first sc). 5 scs, * sk 3 scs, ch 4, in next sc (dc, ch 2,dc), sk 3 scs, ch 4, 9 scs*; repeat from *to* around ending with sk 3 scs, ch 4, 4 scs,sl st in first sc.
Rnd 3: Ch 2 ( counts as first sc). 4scs, *sk sc and ch 4, ch5, dc in dc, ch 2, (dc over ch-2, ch2) 2 times, dc in dc, sk ch-4 and sc, ch 5, 7 scs*; repeat from 8to* around ending with sk ch-4 and sc, sh 5, 3 scs, sl st in first ch of rnd.
Rnd 4: Ch 2 ( counts as first sc). 3 scs, 8sk sc and ch-5, ch 5, dc indc, sk ch-2, ch 2, dc in dc, ch 2, over ch-2 ( dc, ch 2, dc ), ch 2, dc in dc, ch 5, sk ch-5 and sc, 5 scs*; repeat from *to* around ending with sk ch-5 and sc, ch 5, 2scs , sl st in first ch of rnd.
