"Long Neck" the giraffe

The flat body makes it easier for children to hold on to the toy and cuddle it, as do the long thin legs and neck. These areas are ideal for the little hands that may struggles with traditionally shaped toys at first which is why they are so popular. The beauty in all ggcrochethouse toys is the care and attention that goes in to the finish, the materials and the design which is always a bit different. This giraffe measures approximately 8 in (20.5 cm), is suitable from 6 months and up and is machine washable in cool water and can be tumble dry.

Reflective Scarf

Usually when you are working on a project you already know what the motif is going to be . This time , for me ,it was not the case. I had fallen in love with that yarn, "Fall" by read heart ,like the name, you could see all the colors of that rich season. The red, orange, green, were so lively that i wanted to show case it with a complementary color, thus the use of brown , to be more specific the "coffee" from the same brand. Having the supply was one thing making the diagram for it was a other. Finally i came up with the idea of a scarf that had one side facing the exact replica of the other one. I used single crochet to make the the center and very tall stitches are linked horizontally to produce an eye catching effect. The "reflective scarf" has i finished size approximatively of 5" to 65".
It will make a nice add on to any wardrobe.
Ps: you can found it at "http://www.etsy.com/shop/maisonducrochet"

Earrings

Since i started using the art of crochet, the yarn i used the most was very a very fine yarn, size( 3 10) etc.., to make doilies and never venture into doing anything else with that type of yarn. But my costumers were telling me that they wanted jeweleries to match there outfits and there style styles.Having the right yarn and choosing the right stitch made it easy to please my eager clients. Many styles were created,"Silhouette Clover", "Sunshine","Sunburst", "English rose","Remember","Chandelier", "4 beads" earrings, etc..
